Few days to start Ghana league but no serious publicity by the FA – Frank Naro worried
According to the sports journalist, Frank Owusu Ansah, the organizers of the Ghana premier league, the GFA has done little to promote their biggest product.
The senior sports journalist is worried over the lack of promotion for the league which starts on 29th October 2021, with just a few days away.
Speaking on the flagship sports program on Kessben FM/TV, Frank Naro tasked the Football Association to at least engage their media partners, Startimes to whip up the atmosphere with the solid promotion of the upcoming league.
“They are the organizers, they are the supervisors of the league and with less than 10 days to start the Ghana Premier league there has been absolutely no conscious effort by the FA to promote their own product.
After publishing the league fixtures, we’ve not heard anything again. The promotion of the product is very low. I think they should up their game” Naro said.
He added that the onus also lies on the Ghanaian sports media to promote the league but the biggest responsibility lies on the football association.
