Rapper Rick Ross arrested

Rapper Rick Ross was picked up by sheriffs in Fayette County, Georgia, on suspicion of marijuana possession Wednesday afternoon, agreeing to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies stopped Ross’ Bentley because of a possible window tint violation and were babbling to him when an officer allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the automobile.
Sheriff Barry H. Babb said Ross gave consent to search the vehicle, and a deputy found marijuana.
Ross, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, is being booked into the Fayette County jail.
A bail amount will be set by the court and Ross will answer to the complaints at a later date, Babb told CNN.
Ross’ representatives have not replied to a request for commentary.
The rapper was arrested in June 2014 in North Carolina after failing to come out at a hearing for a previous marijuana charge, according to CNN affiliate WSB-TV.
Ross was held into custody after performing at the SuperJam Music Festival in Greensboro and later put out on a $1,000 bond.
