33-year-old Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin joins New Edubiase FC
Renowned Kumawood actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah famously referred to as ‘Lilwin’ in the Showbiz has confirmed his switch to Ghanaian second-tier outfit New Edubiase United FC ahead of the new season.
The ‘Dancehall Comic’ hitmaker is very popular in Ghana and Africa and has really taken the Ghana movie industry by storm for almost a decade now before switching to music on a part-time basis.
Speaking to Happy FM in Accra, Kwadwo Nkansah confirmed he’s joined the ‘Yenko Nkoaa’ outfit as he is set to work for them on both on and off the pitch. He said;
“It’s time to play football. I have signed two seasons for New Edubiase United”, he told Happy FM. “I currently play in the Number 7 position or any position in the midfield.
The coach is the one who requested me. The CEO wants me as the ambassador and the Coach also wants me to play.I can play the first 45 minutes and with time I can play the full 90 minutes. As long as I play for New Edubiase United no team will beat us.”
After a meeting with bankroller Abdul Salam Yakubu, the favourite Comedian has agreed to join on a two-year deal after fruitful negotiations.
The 33-year-old actor is going to serve as an Ambassador for New Edubiase FC. He indicated will also like to feature in some of their matches in the 2021/22 campaign labelling the right-wing as his favourite role to operate.
