The Moroccan giants have arrived in the West African nation for the much-anticipated CAF Champions League preliminary game against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Wydad Athletic Club landed in Ghana on Friday night for the all-important fixture against reigning Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak.
A contingent comprising of players and officials touched down at Kotoka International Airport in Accra via a chartered flight Wydad Athletic Club will battle out with the one-time CAF Champions League title holders without their head coach Walid Regragui and his assistant coach after testing positive for Coronavirus.
Midfield trio Reda Jaadi, Soufiane Karkach and Salaheddine Benyachou have also been ruled out due to injuries. Wydad Athletic Club will train at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday evening.
Hearts of Oak are hoping for a positive outcome against the Moroccan club at the Accra Sports Stadium before the reverse leg tie in Casablanca.
