Former Afigya Sekyere East DCE clashes with Assemblyman over missing 257 electricity poles
The residents of Boya, a farming community in the Afigya Sekyere East district of the Ashanti Region have raised concerns about missing 257 electricity poles at the former DCE, Hon Mary Boatemaa Marfo residence.
The Assembly Man, Hon Emmanuel Frimpong speaking to Ali Baba, host of Breaking News on Kessben FM/TV earlier made mention that the low tension poles were kept at the DCE’s residence at Effiduase for safety reasons by the contractor who is working on the extension of electricity to the Boya Community but unfortunately, the poles are missing.
He added that the case has been reported to the Effiduase district police command for action to be taken.
The DCE, speaking to Ali Baba on breaking news refuted the claims and says she is not aware of any 257 poles and also went further to say she is not a watchman so she can’t be accused of the said missing poles.
