Black Sherif is BoB Marley incarnate – Sonnie Badu

Multiple award-winning gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, has joined the throngs of fans praising Black Sherif’s lyrical creativity on his maiden “The Villain I Never Was,” album.

According to Sonnie Badu, young Blacko has displayed outstanding talent that is comparable to the late Jamaican singer and songwriter, Bob Marley.

“I think this young man (Black Sherif) is BoB Marley incarnate living in Ghana.

His song writing abilities are just incredible,” he posted on his Facebook page today.

He noted that the Kwaku The Traveller hitmaker’s songwriting and vocal talent were remarkable and stood a good chance of quickly putting Ghana on the international map.

“This new album solidifies the fact that – he will be one of the Giants of African music. And he will surely win some Grammys for Ghana.”

Sonnie Badu added that it was important for him to take good care of himself and choose a path that would call for resentment or result in an early death since he was doing well on his chosen path despite being a newcomer in the music industry.

“May God protect you from jealousy, envy, and premature termination as you walk in your giftings.”

It’s barely 24 hours since Black Sherif’s The Villain I Never Was album was released but it is already receiving a great deal of praise and continues to warm the hearts of music lovers across the world.

The 14-track album features Nigerian artiste Burna Boy, and offers listeners engaging listening experiences.
