Statement :Chairman Robert Kutin Jr Wishes NPP Well In Its Regional Conferences

First of October 2021 marks the beginning of the governing New Patriotic Party’s Regional conferences which present an opportunity for the party to re-galvanize its base which forms the core and strength of the party.

Members will use the opportunity to engage, consult, reflect and prepare the grounds to usher the party into our Annual National Delegates Conference in December.

This will afford us the opportunity to right our wrongs, better our rights, reason together, and deliberate on the events before, during and after the 2020 elections as we lace our boots to Break The 8.

Being fully aware of the fact, #BreakingThe8 goes beyond a tag line but to ensuring that we forge ahead in unity, hardwork, peace, love and tolerance knowing that, the people of Ghana count on us to turn the fortunes around for our motherland.

As we usher ourselves into the party’s Regional conferences, may we remind ourselves with the words of Rohini Nilekani that, “we cannot be mere consumers of good governance, we must be participants; we must be co-creators” and we can only sustain the party which is undoubtedly the best to lead Ghana into great development and prosperity.

That notwithstanding, our people have unbending faith in us, by not only being on the sidelines but rather, committing ourselves beyond the chants and slogans in all humility to sustaining the legacy of the party.

May we never be oblivious of our roots, our history, our future and the greater good for which we come together.

While at it, may we not forget the times we are in but rather, remind ourselves to adhere to all COVID-19 preventive protocols and be each other’s keeper.

May the good Lord grant us His traveling mercies and bless us all.

Robert Kutin Jr.
NPP Central Regional Chairman
