Queen’s Hospital and Maternity embarks on free NHIS registration
Queen’s Hospital and Maternity in partnership with the Principal administrator officer at NHIS in Asokwa, Betty Acheampong organized a two-day free NHIS card registration event for all Ghanaians.
The registration took place on September 26 and 27, 2023 at Queen’s Hospital and Maternity in Atonsu, KUWAIT.
Madam Betty Acheampong in an interview said Ghanaians should take advantage of this chance to enroll in NHIS for their own benefit.
She continued by saying that Ghanaians shouldn’t assume that the NHIS is useless and should instead come in large numbers and register.
The clinical care coordinator, Dr. M. P. Kyei stated, ” The hospital is a health insurance-approved hospital and we feel that it’s part of our social corporate responsibility to the neighborhood.”
She added that the registration event’s goal was to enable Ghanaians to get medical treatment without having to pay a lot of money.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked them for holding this registration event and requested the government to support it in various centers across the nation
