Pastors are not above the law, they should abide and humble themselves – Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako
The Founder and Leader of Alive Chapel International, Bishop Salifu Amoako have reacted to the woes of Glorious Word Power Ministries International and its founder Owusu Bempah’s arrest.
According to him on “Maakye show on Kessben FM hosted by Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye, said there are laws in the country and even in the Bible there are laws…He made reference to the ten(10) commandments given to the Israelites.
No one is above the law therefore Politicians, businessmen, and Pastors should be conscious of their speech when given the platform in media stations. He said.
He added that there are laws that govern the president and as a pastor, you have to humble yourself to focus on the message of God for the Bible says anyone who breaks the law will be bitten by the serpent.
When interrogated on why division amongst clergy and politics he said, Politics is a human right and therefore Pastors have the right to vote but as a Pastor, you have to be a man Of God and not a man of the people. He advised that all Pastors’ loyalty must be more of God.
