Journalists Receive Apology From Police Over Attack At Owusu Bempa’s Court Hearing
The Ghana Police Service has extend an apology to the media following reports that some journalists were on Monday, September 13 prevented from entering the courtroom during the arraignment of the Head Pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and three others.
According to reports, some journalist were attacked and prevented from working at the courtroom at a time the court hearing is in process, by persons who are allegedly believed to be church members and well-wishers or the accused persons.
Meanwhile the police in a Press release has said, “A team is currently studying the footage of the alleged assault of the journalists to identify the alleged perpetrators for immediate prosecution.
