PSALM ADJETEYFIO’s SITUATION: Do side hustles & save during your prime – Nii Saka Brown
Veteran actor Nii Saka Brown has advised Ghanaian celebrities especially those in the movie industry to develop a strong culture of saving while they hit their peaks.
The veteran actor reacting to the sad situation of his colleague actor Psalm Adjeteyfio encouraged other celebrities in the movie industry to have side businesses while they are in their prime.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Ali Baba Dankambari, Nii Saka Brown noted that acting alone cannot pay the bills therefore as an actor/actress it is important to have side businesses and also have the attitude of saving money.
“The way you live your life certainly matters. Let say this, any money you get, if you want to save you can save. This life we’re living is in faces. If you earn 1000, at least you can save 30% of that. It is about saving and living according to your size. I will advice actors/actresses to save and also have other businesses which will earn them some money while they are in their prime. Even apart from SSNIT, and other insurances, you can still save on your own, add something to the acting and save. Your money is not in anyone’s pocket” He stated.
Nii Adjeteyfio’s current situation attracted the mercy of the vice president of Ghana after the veteran actor openly cried for help to pay his house rent.
On Monday morning, the vice president of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia honoured his pledge to assist the former lead actor of the famous Taxi Driver TV series by donating GHC50,000 to the veteran actor.
