Ashgold is only ready to sell Seth Osei for $80,000 to Kotoko

Ashanti Gold Sporting Club is demanding $80,000 from Asante Kotoko before they will release their forward Seth Osei to the Kumasi based football club, Kessben Sports has learnt.

Seth Osei has been on the radar of Kumasi Asante Kotoko since the end of the 2020-21 football season. Kumasi Asante Kotoko is reported to have made an official bid for the forward but could not reach an agreement due to the price tag demand of the Obuasi based football club.

An initial bid by Kumasi Asante Kotoko was rejected by Ashantigold football club, the Obuasi-based football club says they will only sell the player if Asante Kotoko will pay $80,000.

It is reported Coach Prosper Ogum who is likely to join Asante Kotoko as the head coach of the club triggered the club’s interest to sign the forward. Seth Osei played for Eleven Wonders before joining Ashantigold. Prior to returning to Ghana, he had a four-year stint at the youth side of Athletico in Spain.
