Black Queens Unpaid Bonus: Where are the women advocate groups & the “feminists” in this country – Franko Naro queries

Senior Sports pundit with Kessben TV, Frank Owusu Ansah widely known as Franko Naro is astounded over the silence of the women advocate groups in Ghana about the unpaid bonuses of the senior Female National Football Team, the Black Queens.

The experienced sports journalist speaking on Kessben TV’s Extra Time Sports show asserted that it is the right time for the women advocates in the country to add their voice to the unfortunate situation of the Black Queens players and push for the footballers to get what is due them.

As the Black Queens prepare to play Zambia in the 2024 Paris Olympic Qualify game on Friday, the winning bonuses of the players from their last 3 games have not been paid.

The Sports Ministry owes the players each $7500 from the 3 games.

Naro reckons that the Women advocates in the country should also add their voices to the call for the powers that be to do needful.

The experienced sports journalist added that if even the Sports Ministry is not currently financially viable to settle the players, the Football Association should prefinance the payment of the winning bonuses of the Black Queens before the Zambia game on Friday.
