Checkout the 49 countries that’ll participate in the African Games in Accra next month
From March 8–24, 2024, Ghana will serve as the host country for the remaining countries in Africa at the 2023 African Games.
The 13th iteration of the Olympic-style competition, set to take place in Accra, has confirmed the participation of 49 nations.
Five nations have not yet confirmed their attendance in the esteemed athletic event: Senegal, Cape Verde, Sudan, South Sudan, and Sao Tome and Principe.
The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa, the Association of African Sports Confederations, and the African Union collaborate to organize the African Games, also known as the Pan African Games or the All-Africa Games, which are a continental multi-sport competition that takes place every four years.
The 49 countries that will converge in Accra and compete are:
