I’m ready to go to Antoa to clear my name, I’m innocent – Thomas Duah on his ban

The Ashantigold SC coach, Thomas Duah who has been handed a 2-year ban on all football-related activities by the Ghana Football Association says his hands are clean.

According to Thomas Duah, his hands are clean over the alleged match-fixing between Ashgold and Inter Allies.

Speaking with Joe Laka on Kessben TV, he stressed that the playing body and the technical team did not have any hand in the said match-fixing to have been punished in such a manner.

Thomas Duah disclosed that he finds it more shocking for the top brass of the Football Association to have endorsed the punishment which lacks evidence.

Thomas Duah noted that the punishment for the said match-fixing should be related to officialdom.

Answering a question by a listener who asked if he’s ready to swear by the popular Ghanaian gods, Antoa, Thomas Duah stressed that he is ever ready to swear with the gods to clear his name.

“I’m prepared to go to Antoa, yes I can swear with the gods that I have no hands in the match-fixing. Ban on fixed games should be related to officialdom but not football players and coaches, we know nothing about it and I don’t accept that I have been banned” He said.
