Black Starlets win UEFA U16 tournament in Serbia

Ghana’s Black Starlets maintained their spectacular form to defeat Switzerland 3-2 on Tuesday and emerged champions of the UEFA U17 Development Tournament in Stara Pazova, Serbia.

Today’s result was the third straight victory for the impressive Starlets who overpowered Serbia and Spain 4-0 and 3-2 respectively in their first two games.

The players who made victory certain for Ghana today were playmaker Ramsey Asumadu (brace) and influential striker, Bossman Debrah.

The sensational performance of the twinkle twinkle little stars has attracted massive interest from European clubs.

Coach Abdul Karim Zito and his boys are expected back home on Wednesday.

The four-nation tournament comprised hosts Serbia, Spain and Switzerland.
