Don’t judge celebrities based on their work – Bishop Sampson Amoateng

Bishop Sampson Amoateng, the General Overseer of House of Miracle Ministries, has advised Christians not to judge showbiz personalities based on the nature of their work.
According to him, people usually think showbiz personalities do not have a good relationship with God and that they don’t even pray because of the nature of their work.
But the Bishop says it is always not the case. “Some of them are prayerful,” he said on Tuesday.
That, he explained, is the reason his church is organising ‘Stars
in Worship’, a Christian event, to help change that mindset about showbiz personalities.
‘“Stars in Worship’ is a programme designed to bring all the stars together; number one, for people to know the other side of the stars. People think some of the stars don’t even pray… But as we come together some of them are prayerful…, that’s why we shouldn’t conclude on people; and anytime men conclude on you, God will always include you. So that’s the essence of the ‘Stars in Worship’.  …whatever happens to any man in life, it is the star you carry and we believe that as the stars are shining and we are celebrating them, …God is also going to polish our stars, gifts and talents so that the coming year will be a year that the normal people who are not shining can also have their talents come up and shine,” he added.
‘Stars in Worship’ is an annual programme organised by HOM in conjunction with SSA Ventures to bring celebrities under one umbrella to worship and praise God. This year’s event will take place at the HOM auditorium at Madina on December 5, 2015.
Among celebs who will be part of the ceremony are Mr Ibu, Becca, Joselyn Dumas, Kalybos, Hogan the comedian, Kwabena Kwabena, Trigmatic, Nollywood’s Kalu Ikeagwu, Klint The Drunk and Soraya Mensah.
The rest are Aboki for Christ, former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Nana Ama McBrown, Mr Beautiful and many others.
