Kwaw Kese urges youth to say 'NO' to drugs
Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has made a passionate appeal to the youth to stay clear of illicit drugs.
The musician is making the appeal a year after he was arrested, tried and convicted for smoking marijuana in Kumasi.
After having a hitch-free show in Kumasi this time around, the rapper is urging the youth to stay away from drugs.
“One year on, God has been good to me, I have graduated from a kid to a man and want to urge the youth to stay away from drugs,” he said in an interview with Dr Pounds on the Hitz Gallery on Hitz FM.
According to him, he has realised a lot of the youth are indulging in the use of different drugs which can affect their health.
“There are different drugs the youth have indulged in these days like cocaine, codeine, weed etc. which affect them health wise,” he stated.
“So I always tell my brothers that kontomire (spinach) is green, one can only prepare stew with it and avoid problems with the law but do drugs and then end up with the police,” he added.
