‘Mad man’ who wanted to contest Mahama ARRESTED for Fraud

George Boateng, the fairly aged man who wanted to contest sitting President John Mahama when nominations for the office opened late last year, has been arrested.
Boateng has been arrested by security operatives for impersonating the National Security office, and claiming favours from unsuspecting persons.
He was arrested before noon Sunday, sources say. He has since been handed over to the Airport Police in Accra.
Then described as a ‘mad man’ by some leaders of the party who thought his ambition was laughable, Boateng unsuccessfully failed to get the go-ahead to contest Mahama.
