Subin MP presents scholarship to beneficiaries

Mr Isaac Osei, Member of Parliament (MP) for Subin, has presented scholarship to 106 brilliant but needy students to pursue second cycle and tertiary level education.
The beneficiaries received cheques ranging between GH¢750.00 and GH¢11,000.00
this brings to 89, the number of students who have so far benefitted from the package, with the total amount coming to GH¢53,588.00.
The scholarship scheme is part of Mr Osei’s effort to support students from poor homes to achieve their academic ambitions.
Mr Charles Hagan, Chairman of the Scholarship Scheme Project, presenting the cheques, said that showed the MP’s commitment towards the promotion of education in the constituency.
He urged the beneficiaries to study hard and said those who demonstrated higher academic performance would continue to enjoy the facility until they completed university.
Mr Akwasi Kyei, the NPP’s Communication Director for the Constituency, advised the beneficiaries to serve as role models and influence their colleagues to study hard to benefit from the scheme.
