Apostle Kojo Safo calls for unity among musicians

The Founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Kojo Safo Kantanka, has advised Ghanaian musicians to build a united front to work together for the development of the industry.
Apostle Safo said that infighting, backbiting and character assassination would not augur well for the industry.
Addressing a delegation led by the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour, aka Obour, during the visit, Kojo Safo mentioned that unity and togetherness among the rank and file of musicians was the best way to ensure the growth and sustenance of the industry.
On his part, Obour expressed the union’s appreciation for the support Apostle Safo has been giving the industry and musicians. The Kristo Asafo Mission groomed the likes of Prof Kofi Abraham, Yaw Sarpong, George Jahrah, among others, where they were members of the mission’s musical groups. As an industrialist, Apostle Safo built a multi-purpose drum machine, amplifiers and speakers and other musical accessories.
Members of the delegation were Rev Fiifi Khan Agyarkwaa, administrator; Naa Amanua of Wulomei fame; Bob Pinodo the show master of Africa; J.V Owusu, National Welfare Officer and Nana Yeboah of Kakaiku No 2 Band.
At the recent MUSIGA Grand Ball, the union honoured three personalities for their support for the music industry in Ghana. They are Apostle Kojo Safo of Kristo Asafo, Dr Ernest Sarpong of Sarpong Ventures and Dr Kwabena Duffour, former Finance Minister and Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
