Sports ministry welcomes applications for media accreditation for Qatar 2022 Worldcup – This is how to apply

The Ghana youth and sports ministry say all Media Houses (Radio, Television, Print and New Media) and Journalists who wish to secure accreditations are encouraged to apply through the Youth and Sports ministry.

MEDIA ACCREDITATION FOR FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be played among thirty-two (32) Teams, including the Ghana Black Stars, from 20th November to 18th December 2022.
The Government wishes to assure all interested parties in the Ghanaian Media Landscape of its preparedness to facilitate the needed accreditation arrangements for coverage of the Tournament.
All Media Houses (Radio, Television, Print and New Media) and Journalists who wish to secure accreditations are encouraged to apply through the of Youth and Sports for onward transmission to the Ghana Mission in Qatar for necessary action.
Interested Journalists are required to contact Mr Kenneth Annang, Head of Public Relations at the Ministry of Youth and Sports on (0246268831) or via email: Ketitiefh.annan^Disd.gov.gh), with their Passport Bio Data, Professional Identification Cards, Hayya Cards (Match Tickets), and a letter of sponsorship from their employer.
Kindly note that the Qatari Government has recommended that all correspondence concerning the World Cup should be channelled through the Ministry of youth and Sports, Ghana, to the Ministty of Foreign Affairs and Regional integration. Ghana, for onward submission to the resident Ghana Embassy in Qatar.
