Actor Eckow Smith-Asante marries long-time fiancé Nittina Sowah

Ghanaian actor Eckow Smith-Asante over the weekend married his long-time fiancé Nittina Sowah.
The couple tied the knot Saturday at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Holy Ghost Temple, Frafraha in Accra after dating for four years.
The church event took place immediately after an engagement ceremony at Nittina’s family home at Teshie Nungua Estate in Accra.
On Sunday, the couple held a reception at the Aviation Social Centre which was attended by some bigwigs in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
In attendance were several celebrities notable amongst them, Kofi Adjorlolo, Kalsum Sinare, Prince David Osei, Irene Opare, Samira Yakubu, Roland Adom, and Belinda Dzata.
The reception witnessed spectacular performances from Riche and MzVee, from Lynx Entertainment. Okyeame Kwame teamed up with MzVee to perform at the event.
The event was officiated by Prophet Christopher Yaw Annor of Holy Ghost Temple, ICGC.
Eckow Smith-Asante described his wife, now Nittina Smith-Asante, during a brief interview.
“She stands out. Very respectable and very understanding and extremely loving,” he said.
