Arturo Vidal close to Bayern Munich move

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is close to joining Bayern Munich but a deal has not been completed.

“We’re interested, but we’re not yet so far that we’ve discussed details and signed contracts,” said the German club’s chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
“I read that it was all wrapped up and I cannot confirm that. I hope at the end of the day he will come.”
The two clubs have been in negotiations for 24 hours to bring the 29-year-old Chilean to Germany.
Bayern wanted to sign Vidal four years ago when he left Bayer Leverkusen but reports suggested the player had reneged on an agreement with the Bavarians to join Juve instead.
But Rummenigge clarified the situation, saying: “[Then-coach] Jupp Heynckes really wanted the player and we tried all we could to sign him, and the message we were given was that the player didn’t want to come to us, but that’s not true.
“It was Leverkusen who clearly turned down what was a better offer from us at the time purely because they didn’t want Vidal to continue playing in the Bundesliga.”
Vidal has also been linked with a move  to the Premier League this summer, with Manchester United and Arsenal among the clubs reportedly keen to sign him.
