Nana Addo joins NPP-UK chapter to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr

Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo Addo has joined the Ghanaian Muslim community in the UK to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
The celebration took place at the Broadwater Farm Community Centre Park in UK.

He is expected to inaugurate the Northampton Chapter of the NPP today, Saturday, July 18 and attend a general meeting of the NPP-UK branch on July 26.

Nana Akufo-Addo, and his wife, Rebecca, left Ghana on Friday, July 10, 2015, for a three-week visit to the United Kingdom.

“Whilst in the UK, Nana Akufo-Addo is scheduled to hold meetings with members of the NPP-UK branch, including a meeting of branch and chapter executives on 11 July; the inauguration of the Northampton Chapter of the branch on 18 July; and attending a branch general meeting on 26 July,” said a statement signed by Nana Addo’s Press Secretary, Eugene Arhin.

It added: “In addition to holding scheduled meetings during the period, Nana Akufo-Addo will also visit some education institutions in England and interact with members of the Ghanaian community in the UK.”

Nana Addo will also be accompanied by his Executive Assistant, Saratu Atta.

He is due home on Friday, July 31.
