Aboabo flood victims receive presidential support
Some residents of Aboabo, a surburb of Kumasi who were affected by last saturday’s rainfall in the Ashanti Region will today be given relief items by the President, John Mahama.
Scores of Aboabo residents have been left destitute after saturday’s rainstorm that recorded one death.
The President would be briefed by the regional minister, Peter Anarfi Mensah, on the development.
He will also hold a meeting with the aggrieved traders at the Kejetia business center to listen to their concerns about their relocation.
The traders have been moved out of the business area to make way for the reconstruction of the Kumasi Central Market.
