The National Lottery Authority has introduced a mid-week draw for Soccer-Cash, a dividend game which enables players to win from a pool of tickets.
This will be in addition to the weekly draw.
The new mid-week draw was announced by Shine Gbologa, NLA’s Director of Sales, at the 11th draw of the game in Accra.
He said unlike the previous fixtures which were only played on weekends, there is currently the introduction of mid-week fixtures, with the draw to be held on Thursdays.
Mr Gbologa announced that the new jackpot is still growing and now stands at GH₵10,000.
He explained that with the Soccer-Cash game, 45 per cent of the pool would go to players who got 10 out of the 12 match fixture predictions correct, 20 per cent to the players who got 11 out of 12 match fixture predictions right and 35 per cent of the pool would go to players who got all 12 match fixture predictions accurate.
He said the game involved the prediction of the home team or away team winning or the match ending in a draw for each of the 12 matches available.
The 12-match fixture for the week involves matches in English Premier League, La Liga, Europa League and Italian Serie A, and is currently available at all NLA retailer outlets.
Mr Gbologa said tickets could be purchased for the game in multiples at GH¢1.00 each.
Soccer-Cash is a collaboration between the NLA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports which is intended to develop sports in the country.
