Ashanti Mampong Anglican diocese enthrones first bishop

The Anglican Church, Ashanti Mampong Diocese, on Sunday enthroned Right. Rev. Dr. Cyril Kobina Ben-Smith as the first bishop of the Mampong Diocese of the province of West Africa.
The Mampong Anglican Church was earlier part of the Ashanti regional diocese until Sunday when it enthroned its first bishop.
After the oath was read, Bishop Ben-Smith agreed to excel in all things to lead the flock of Christ and revealed his vision for the church.
The newly installed bishop advised leaders in government to set a good example and desist from corruption which is against the will of God.
