Komla Dumour honoured by international broadcasting body
The Association for International Broadcasting (AIB), has presented a special posthumous Founders Award to the family of the late Ghanaian BBC World News journalist, Komla Dumor.
Komla Dumor died suddenly last January at the age of 41.
The AIB Awards, which took place yesterday in London, honour the highest achievements in factual content for TV, radio and online.
The association says Komla Dumor’s legacy of high-quality journalism and knowledge-sharing across borders represent the ideals AIB aims to foster as the world’s leading knowledge network for the global broadcast industry.
