Bortianor taxi drivers threaten to go on strike over “killer road” (Video)
The taxi drivers at the Bortiano Taxi rank have expressed dissatisfaction over their bad road network.
The drivers have warned that for the very last time if the authorities do not turn to fix their road network they will be going on a demonstration with possible strike action.
According to them, the bad state of the road is not only causing damage to their vehicles but also poses as a huge danger to the lives of people who ply the road.
Some residents also bemoaned that due to bad roads, It’s really difficult to get taxi most times.
The situation has forced many Taxi drivers to abandon the taxi rank to engage in “Waawa”
