Nathaniel Bassey, Elder Mireku and others for August worship

Accra will once again have an awesome experience of worship, as the anointed men of God from Ghana and Nigeria unleash the anointing onto people at the annual charity concert dubbed “August Worship”.
This year’s edition which marks the fifth, is slated for Sunday, August 23, at the Accra International Conference Center and would be free for all and sundry.
The show organized by the Jeshurun Okyere Global Outreach (JOGO), is to raise awareness on the numerous addictions and challenges bedeviling the teaming youth in the country.
This year’s edition, which promises to be a breathtaking experience would feature Nigerian music sensation and worship icon, Nathaniel Bassey as he breaks the yoke preventing people from their destiny.
The “Imela” hit crooner, would thrill people with emotional display on the stage coupled with his dexterity on the trumpet.
The journey to the throne of God would continue as the legendary Ghanaian soul-inspiring singer, Elder Mireku, who has over 40 hit albums to his credit, descend into the realm of the spirit soaring with his soothing voice.
It would be a day to reminisce and the overflow of blessings from heaven as Elder Mireku, performs most of his hit songs from the beginning of his career.
These moments would get to the acme when the host for the night, worship leader and youth advocate, Jeshurun Okyere takes his turn to lead the gathering to crossover from their negative addictions.
It would also see to the release of his much anticipated “O’ Jesus” album.
Following this, the head pastor of Makers House Chapel International, Rev. Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye would address the audience on the essence of purposeful living and vision and lead them to pray for mother Ghana.
The Love Creed band would also take charge of the praise and worship section of the programme to elevate the spirit of the gathering.
The August Worship Concert was nominated for Event of the year award at the African Gospel Music Awards (AGMA) in London.
The team has moved around several Senior High Schools in the country with their campaign against drug abuse, prostitution, and other vices which has benefited hundreds of addicts.
