Freezy Macbones set for another bout next month, reveals intention to fight for Ghana

The newest kid on the block in the light-heavyweight boxing fraternity, Seth Gyimah Freezy MacBones has revealed that he will be up for another bout after beating legendary boxer Darryl Sharp last Saturday.

Speaking on Kessben TV after the bout, Freezy stressed that there is no time to rest as he’s hitting back to the training for a possible next bout in May 2023.

Despite having no engagements with the Ghana Boxing Authority, Freezy disclosed that he is all set to fight for Ghana if the West African nation calls on him.

“From Sekyere East in the Ashanti Region, a small village known as Biima. I started my boxing career at 27. When I got to the UK, many said I’m sick to start a boxing career at that age, they said why shouldn’t I just go find some job to do?

I didn’t listen to them. With hard work and the grace of God, I’m here today. “I Don’t wanna be like anyone. I Wanna be the best of myself. Though I look up to Mike Tyson, I don’t want to be like him.

I just want to be the best of myself. As you watched I always have the Ghana flag around me and also the UK flag on but I have had no communication or documentation with the boxing authority in Ghana.

In the future, if Ghana goes to the Olympics and will need me, I will be available and we will decide on that.

That was my second bout. My opponent (Darryl Sharp) had about 113 bouts and lost only 3. That’s why I was very serious. When he started boxing, I was in my village in Ghana running after after big rats (Nkusie) I have no time to rest.

I’m going in for another bout next month. Boxing is prime game, so let me just beat them now” He said.
