Jojo Wollacot: In-demand Ghana goalkeeper could leave Swindon Town at end of season

The contract of the 25-year-old runs out in the summer amid doubts over his long-term future at the fourth-tier side

The Ghana international has refused to be drawn into speculation regarding his future but fresh reports in England suggest he may just be on his way out.

Wollacot will be available on a frees transfer in the upcoming window if a fresh agreement cannot be reached with the League Two outfit.

The talented goalkeeper has kept 10 clean sheets in 37 league matches so far this season.

The England-born goalkeeper was between the sticks when the Black Stars ousted rivals Nigeria on the away goals rule to seal a qualification to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana face a daunting task at the tournament after drawing old foes Portugal on 24 November in their Group H opener.

Four days later, the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists will face South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Ar-Rayyan.

Ghana’s final match will be against Uruguay on 2 December at the Al Janoub Stadium.
