Four people murdered in Alavanyo

A family of three, including a three month old baby has been shot in Alavanyo in the Volta Region.

This is the second time shooting in the area after one person was shot dead on Monday morning in the Alavanyo area.

Recounting the incident to Citi News, the former Member of Parliament for Alavanyo Demeh, Wisdom Amlado was quoted as saying;

“This afternoon, some couple were around and they heard gunshots and they believed they were people from Nkonya”

He added that, no arrests had not yet been made but mentioned the deceased woman’s name as Enyornam.

As it stands, the district commander together with his team arrived and has carried the deceased to the hospital for further tests to be carried out.
