President Mahama nominates Kumasi Mayor

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated Mr Kojo Bonsu as the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
A statement signed by Mr Akwasi Opong-Fosu, Minister for Local Government and Rural Development and copied to the Ghana News Agency said on Thursday.
According to the statement the nomination is by virtue of section 243(1) of the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana and section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
