The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked its opponents not to underestimate the impact of the party’s 33-page document, outlining the “True State of the Nation Address” on Ghanaians.
Speaking on the Citi FM’s news analysis program The Big Issue, the Deputy Minority Leader in Parliament Dominic Nitiwul stated that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) state of the nation address should not be underrated since their revelation has exposed the true performance of the economy.
He also indicated that, the document it has caught the attention of Ghana’s development partners and the international financial institutions.
“The impact is huge, cabinet meetings have been held, the Finance Minister is struggling in China all because of some of the things we have raised” he noted.
According to him, President Mahama’s speech on the state of the nation was not accurate.
“The arrears we have said is true, the deficit we have said is true, the loans we have said is true and I am saying that people are taking notice” he said.
He further emphasized that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as well as the people of Ghana have taken notice.
