Kumawu Bye Election :Kennedy Agyapong Donates Nissan Navara Pick Up To NPP

The MP for Assin Central constituency and an aspiring presidential candidate for New Patriotic Party,Hon Kennedy ‘Akumpraku’ Kwame Agyapong, has donated a brand new white Navara Pick Up to support the Kumawu by-election in the Ashanti region. The by-election slated for the 23rd of this month has 6 candidates vying to occupy the vacant seat left by the deceased Hon. Philip Basoah. The short ceremony took place at the NPP Headquarters devoid of noise and fanfare. Accompanied by few of his campaign team members , Hon Kennedy Agyapong handed over the keys of Vehicle in the full glare of the media . In his speech , the donor expressed the importance of the by – election and wished his party well to annex the seat to set the tone for future elections. He told the party that he came there to donate his widow’s might to help the party recapture the vacant seat. He added that he has a lot more to do for the party in the coming days when the party may need support . Hon Kennedy Agyapong promised that he will give out some more when the need arises as he has always done. According to him his team attaches importance to the upcoming by-election hence the timely donation of the 2023 registered Nissan Navara. Receiving the keys of the vehicle, the Director of Finance and Administration of the party, Mr Williams Yamoah expressed the party’s sincere thanks and gratitude for the kind gesture. He told the donor that, the party duly appreciates the myriad of donations the honourable MP has made over the years to support the course of the party especially in difficult times.He assured the donor of the parts resolve to recapture the vacant seat to honour the deceased MP. He indicated that the party’s readiness for future donations all in the quest to equip it for future elections . Present were first vice chairman, Mr Danquah Smith Butey , Director of IT and few others as the party hierachy is in Kumawu campaigning .Later in an interview with the media ,the donor assured the party of his unflinching support for the party at all times . He starts his listening tour to the Ashanti Region later in the day.
