Give NDC red card – Nana Addo

The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on the people of the Northern region to “show the NDC the red card” because of their failure to fulfill the countless electoral promises that were made to them.

“The NDC says there is no money to fund the free Secondary education, But all this money that they are paying to Woyome and the others, is it not the money of the people of Ghana? Can we not use that money in a better way?” he questioned.

According to Nana Addo, one of the biggest examples of the National Democratic Congress’ failures was the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA). In his opinion “SADA, like the better Ghana agenda, has been a spectacular failure. We have not seen any development of the three Northern Regions under the ages of SADA.”

“If you cannot do something it doesn’t mean that your friend or brother cannot do it. If the NDC cannot do it, there is a simple thing for them to do. Move themselves peacefully out of the way and let those who can do it come and do it and move and progress our nation forward.”

Addressing a rally in the Northern Regional capital city of Tamale, Nana Addo appealed to the people to vote his government into office to “bring progress to the people of the three northern regions.”

The NPP presidential candidate, announced that in memory of the late Alhaji Aliu Mahma, his government was going to undertake three main projects “to accelerate the development of the three regions of the North so that we can bring employment and work, and business, and progress to the people of the three Northern regions.”
