Beefing is good for showbiz industry – Nana Reagan insists
Entertainment analyst and journalist, Nana Reagan popularly known as ‘beefist’ has insisted that beefing in the showbiz industry is very laudable.
With his usual unflinching support of ‘beefing’, he believes ‘beefing’ creates an avenue to bring up substantial issues in the industry that can get people to come on board and discuss to get the right things done.
He explained that Ghanaians have some misconceptions about ‘beefing’. According to him, the moment ‘beefing’ is mentioned people assume that there’s a social war going on.
Speaking to Nana Osei Kesse (Mr. Bonez) on Kessben TV’s entertainment show, ‘Music Plus’, he clarified that ‘beefing’ is not about artistes and celebrities throwing tantrums and being at each other’s throats on social media but to get enthusiasts’ attention to discuss issues of interest to promote the showbiz industry.’
“I’m loving ‘beefs’ to correct the wrongs.” Nana Reagan stated and further pointed out his love for ‘beef’ is why he is tagged as a ‘beef’ lover.
Hence, he encourages ‘beefing’ in the music industry and presumes that if artistes are conscious about the business aspect of ‘beefing’ it can be a stepping stone for the artiste. He added that many others have got their career breakthroughs by engaging in ‘beefs’.
