Nations FC does not belong to Dr. Kwame Kyei – Club reiterates

The brands and commercial manager of Nations FC Kennedy Boakye Ansah, has stressed that the newly promoted Ghana premier league side, Nations FC does not belong to the BoD chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr Kwame Kyei.

Speaking on Kessben TV’s Midfield Action with Sir Joe Laka, Boakye Ansah reemphasized that Dr. Kwame Kyei is only a Godfather of the club who provides support in different ways.

According to the brands and commercial manager, the club is owned by Devine Kyei and Paul Kyei Baffour the sons of Dr Kwame Kyei.

He stated that Dr. Kwame Kyei is only providing support for the investment of his sons.

“He’s the Godfather of the club. He gives advice and support the club in different ways. He plays a very important role in the club.

Without his role, we would not have qualified for the Premier League. Let me reiterate the club belongs to Divine and Paul his sons. He’s only the Godfather of the club.

He has a link with the club because his sons bought a club and as a father, he is there to support and help them succeed” He said.

The sons bought Bekwai Youth Football Academy and renamed it as Nations FC last year.
