Asamoah Gyan Nets Brace In Al Ain's Win After Mum's Death

Ghana Asamoah Gyan continued his hot scoring form for Al Ain as he netted twice in their 3-2 win at Al Shabab on Thursday.
The 26-year-old, who is mourning the death of his mother, converted a 43rd minute spot-kick to put the visitors in front.
Shabab responded in the second half with Brazilian Ciel getting the equalizer nine minutes into the second period.
But the Black Stars captain restored their lead, ten minutes later with a cool finish in the 64th minutes before Ismail Ahmed scored the third in the 76th minutes.
Shabab grabbed the consolation in injury time through Ciel.
Gyan has now increased his goal haul to 14 in seven matches and look poised to retain his goal king crown.
The former Sunderland man netted 25-times for the United Arab Emirates side last season to win the goal king gong.
He is expected to touch base in Ghana on Friday to mourn with members of his family following the untimely death of his mother Cecilia Love Gyan, who passed away through a motor accident on Tuesday.
