National Sports Authority gives Kotoko greenlight to train at Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday & Friday

Ahead of Asante Kotoko’s first home game of the 2021-22 Ghana premier league, the National Sports Authority has given the Kumasi-based football club the green light to train at the stadium before they play Bechem United on Sunday.

Kotoko returns to the Baba Yara Sports stadium after 15 months as the stadium went under renovation works.

The porcupine warriors have dubbed their first premier league home game as “The Home Coming” with the expectation of beating Bechem united to bag a 100% winning record.

Kotoko had to come back and beat Dreams FC in their first premier league game last week.

Fans of the club are hopeful the good start by the Prosper Ogum boys will continue at their favourite stadium.

Asante Kotoko and King Faisal Football club in Kumasi will use the Baba Yara Sports stadium as their home grounds for the season with King Faisal already having a bite of the renovated stadium when they hosted and beat WAFA last week.

Kotoko Tuesday announced the gate fees of the game, with VIP tickets going for GHC100, GHC50 for the wings, GHC40 for Centerline and GHC30 for the popular stand.
