Aduana FC Football Club fans blame Kumasi Media for their ban

The leadership of the Supporters union of Aduana Football Club say their temporal ban by the Ghana Football Association from using their home venue was engineered by the Kumasi media.
The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association ordered a temporary ban on Aduana FC from using the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park as its home venue on Monday 3rd April 2023.
The decision by the GFA follows after some unfortunate incidents that occurred after the Match day 25 between Aduana FC and Tamale City FC (outside the park) played on April 2, 2023 where videos emerged showed Tamale City fans wounded by alleged fans of Aduana FC.
According to the GFA, “the decision is in accordance with the GFA Premier League Regulations Article 14(2) which states inter alia “the GFA may order the closure of any league centre where the safety of clubs, Match Officials or Spectators cannot be guaranteed.”’
The leadership of the Aduana fans addressing their supporters and the media denied any wrongdoing stressing they had no hand in the viral video.
According to them, The Kumasi media particularly Kessben FM and Wontumi FM drummed so much about the incident for the FA to slap the ban on them.
