Supreme Court is for the constitution, NDC will appeal – Mustapha Grande
The deputy General Secretary for the NDC, Mustapha Grande says the NDC and other 4 political parties will appeal to the Supreme Court.
According to him, the EC is obliged to work in accordance with the constitution but has refused to work in its own way which contradicts the constitution of Ghana.
He made this statement following the EC’s decision to limit Voter registration.
In an interview with Kessben 93.3 fm, on Maakye show, he emphasized that, Ghanaians will not register if the process is costly. He stressed that the demarcation by the EC at districts will not favor all Ghanaians to register to be able to vote in the coming 2024 elections.
“We are hoping that the Supreme Court for the first time will do justice for Ghanaians,” He said.
