Wontumi has hijacked Ashanti NPP for his personal interest – Akwasi Nti

Former Fomena NPP Chairman, Akwasi Nti has accused Benard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi of hijacking the party for his personal interest.

Chairman Kwasi Nti speaking on Maakye with Omanhene explained that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stronghold is in the Ashanti Region hence its the duty of the party to ensure the growth of the Region and country as a whole but the reality hasn’t been so under the watch of Chairman Wontumi.

He noted that there are prominent businessmen in the region and leaders of the NPP who can work hand in hand with these people to help in the development of the Region.

Chairman Kwasi Nti accused Chairman Wontumi of not ensuring the development of the party. According to him, Chairman Wontumi wants to assume responsibilities for his own interest. ” Chairman Wontumi wants to take control of everything in the country”.

He stressed the fact that chairman Wontumi is in charge of the Kejetia cleaning and security companies yet he is not contributing positively to the party.
