We don’t have any say in Kotoko now – Christopher Damanya bemoans

Circles chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Christopher Damanya has bemoaned the lack of representation of the supporters’ wing on the board and management of the Asante Kotoko SC.

Damanya stressed that they are now mere customers of the club who are just interested and crazy about the club Asante Kotoko, a reason why they keep supporting the club.

When asked about his contribution as the supporters’ chairman of the club on the impasse between the Kotoko Board and the management, the supporters’ chairman retorted he is just like any ordinary fan of the club.

“We are only customers, buyers, and sellers. I am not part of the board nor the management so which information am I going to give to my supporters?”

Past managements and BoDs of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have had slots for the interest of the supporters on either the BoD or the management of the club. Unfortunately with the current setup at the club, there is no one representing the supporters on either the BoD headed by Dr. Kwame Kyei or the management led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.
