Miss Giuseppina Baafi is Miss Ghana 2013.
The twenty two year old accounting student beat of competition from 20 other ladies in this year’s edition of the contest.
Magaret Kuma-Mintah and Crystal Selorm Amudzi took 1st and 2nd runner up respectively.
The winner will walk away with a brand new car, cash prize, one year full-time service with Miss Ghana Foundation, one year accommodation at the Miss Ghana House donated by Manet Properties among other prizes.
The first runner-up will also have an official car to be used for one year, a year full time service with the Miss Ghana Foundation, a year accommodation at the Miss Ghana Official House and a cash prize.
The second-runner up will receive an official car to be used for a year, a year accommodation at the Miss Ghana Official House and a cash prize.
The contest, which took place at the Banquet Hall of the State House, brought together the creme de la creme of entertainment fraternity in Ghana including some A-list celebrities and politicians.
The former first lady of the Republic, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings; Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare; Miss World 2012, Wenxia Yu plus several captains of industry were there to grace the occasion.
The night saw captivating performances from thrilling Sherifa Gunu, saxophonist extraordinaire Steve Bedi and smooth crooner, Kwabena Kwabena.
Miss World, Wenxia Yu also performed a popular Chinese ballad with sheer elegance which got the audience clapping in appreciation.
The event also saw several amounts of money being raised through auctions for the several causes including the refurbishment of the children’s block of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
