Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta could make his long-awaited return from injury when Arsene Wenger’s men take on Barcelona at the Camp Nou tonight.
The Spaniard has been out of action since the end of January with an ankle injury and last featured for the Gunners in their third round FA Cup win against Burnley.
Wenger’s side face the unenviable task of overturning a 2-0 aggregate score when they play Luis Enrique’s side tonight and the Frenchman’s admitted the Gunners have just a 5% side of emerging through to the last eight.
The Gunners are missing a number of key figures going into the second-leg such as Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey but Arteta has trained with the group for the last five days and can expect to take a place on the side’s bench.
