Halo Effect: Be careful, you may make good people look bad & make bad people appear good in your life – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

Reverend Vincent Kankam has cautioned people against the dangers of the Halo Effect, saying it can influence how individuals perceive the people around them.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Food for Thought, Rev. Kankam explained that people can sometimes allow their personal perceptions or biases to distort their judgment of others.
He noted that if care is not taken, a person may end up making good people appear bad while portraying bad people as good simply because of the impressions they have formed about them.
Rev. Kankam therefore encouraged listeners to be more discerning in their relationships and avoid judging people solely based on appearances, reputation or personal feelings.
According to him, people must take time to understand others objectively before forming conclusions about their character.
