Nhyiaeso NPP Chairman Kwadjo Owusu Bempah provides GH₵50,000 support to executives, party members, and community

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman for the Nhyiaeso constituency, Owusu Bempah, has provided financial support to 15 students entering senior high school as part of a constituency support initiative.
Bempah said the initiative was intended to fulfil a campaign pledge to support constituents and make a difference in the constituency.
During my campaign I promised not to turn my back on you. And I want to make a difference at the Nhyiaeso Constituency,” he said.
He said the support was part of efforts to assist families facing financial difficulties as their children transition into senior high school.
Among those who benefited was a student who secured aggregate 7 and gained admission to Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High School.
The student’s parent said the family had struggled to raise the money needed for the child’s education before seeking assistance from the constituency chairman.
“My ward secured aggregate 7 and was admitted at Yaa Asantewaa SHS. Things became difficult raising funds, but when we petitioned Chairman Owusu Bempah he intervened and now my ward is at Yaa Asantewaa SHS,” the parent said.
Bempah also provided financial assistance to 20 traders in the constituency. The amount distributed to the traders was not disclosed.
In addition, he funded travel expenses for a constituent who secured a scholarship to study abroad.
The chairman said the initiatives were aimed at providing practical support to constituents, particularly people facing financial barriers to education and economic activity.
The interventions come as political parties and their local organisers increasingly use constituency-level programmes to support residents and maintain engagement with communities.
Bempah said he remained committed to fulfilling promises made to residents during his campaign and supporting constituents within his capacity.
